Island Dance has been invited to perform at more than 30 spectacular events this year alone. We're rapidly gaining a superb and professional reputation as a school to be relied upon to provide top children’s dancing on any arena in Hong Kong.

Our “Performers Show Teams” – Asia’s only - are a chance for these exceptional teenagers to gain extra experience in performing to large audiences and TV. We currently train 3 teams: 2 Seniors (13 years +) and a Junior (11 -13 yrs).

To join one of these teams, each child must be invited by an Island Dance teacher. Alternatively, if you are a star, ask for an individual audition! Once accepted, you must continue attending at least one of our technique classes and have a strong desire for dance, dedication, discipline, and that extra ‘something’ needed to shine on stage.

We relish the opportunity to help develop these children to excel in front of an audience, to really enjoy being on stage. With innovative choreography, classes dedicated to performing, entire rooms of costumes to choose from, enthusiastic and talented teachers, students LOVE these classes.

As a result of all the criteria above, it is natural for us to offer any performances to these students first. The confidence these talented girls and boys gain means they are more likely (though not a pre-requisite!) to go on to Public Speaking, Performing Arts, Drama, Amateur Dramatics, or even study dance as a profession!
