We are about good memories ... great ones! Our motivation is to give every child a chance to dance in a fun, safe, stimulating environment. We know a significant proportion of our international student base is transient. This is life in Hong Kong. As such, if we can create a joy of dance, a success in an exam or stage performance for a child…then that child may decide to take that ‘feel good about myself’ factor to their new home and start dance classes. It’s a great way to make friends in any language!   

Building confidence “The important criterion for us is to build a child's confidence. What a child gets out of this is a sense of achievement, a chance to improve their social skills, posture, concentration, and to progress their gross and finer motor skillsk, all whilst enjoying themselves and having fun!

Enjoying what we do Island Dance teachers LOVE their job. Ask them! Better still watch them in action! Collectively our teachers choreograph a staggering 70 dances a year, every one of them with passion and caring. They share these new dances amongst the Ballet, Tap, Contempory and Disco Freestyle programmes, together with warm-ups and technical exercises.
